The Colors of Cartagena

After a six day visit, I learned a bit about the fascinating history of Cartagena, the ancient port city in Colombia founded by Spanish nobleman in 16th century. But the literary genre of magical realism has a completely new meaning to me. It comes from the unreal beauty of the place and all I can do is to share a few pictures to convey the magic of “amethyst afternoons and nights of antic breezes”. So here we go.
